JCS Therapeutic Sections
The society has three therapeutic sections:
- Physical therapy section
It is concerned with the development and treatment of the motor and mental aspects of the patient so they become ideal, as well as relieving pain, and helping the disabled to invest their potential energy in the attempt to overcome disability or injury, and return to maximum level of movement.
- Occupational therapy section
It is the treatment and rehabilitation of the disabled persons through therapeutic activities that aim at reaching maximum level of independence within the remaining capabilities in all life aspects, such as work, entertainment and daily care such as eating, drinking, bathing and others.
- Speech and language therapy section
This section is for the the assessment and treatment of problems of human communication, which is based on the assessment and treatment of speech disorders, speech and voice and fluency and social and cognitive communication as well as swallowing disorders in adults and children.
